A Labour of Love

Llanddulas - Once described as 'A most perfect village' nestles on the North Wales coast, separated from its nearest neighbours by fields and mountains.
For centuries its inhabitants have relied on Limestone quarrying, Farming and Seafaring for their livelihood, Its in depth history was revealed in a book published in 1985 by Brian Jones and Margaret Rawcliffe 'Llanddulas - Heritage of a Village'

Hi everyone, 1894 saw the introduction of the first picture post card and the post office recorded 248 million during that year and in 1914 it handled 926 million, after the war the figure drops to 400 million, so how is it we have trouble finding post cards of the village ?

We have added a forum to the site for Llanddulas for those who would like to record their memories, those who have a genealogical interest or just chat.

Big thank you to those who have already contributed information and material, remember, without your photographs, newspaper cuttings, videos etc. the site would not exist.

If you have material that we could use please contact us, remember 'We don't keep it, we copy it' and you will be helping to save the heritage of our village. Diolch, Thanks
Rod, Doug and Idris
